IN-PERSON SUMMER CAMP
Weekdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
at 1417 N. 2nd Street, Philly
FOUR camp weeks for ages 7–12:
July 8–12: Under the Sea Adventures
Join us for a fantasy-themed week diving into the ocean deep as we imagine the adventurous lives of sea creatures from mermaids to megalodons, and all the sea gods, talking crustaceans, and mythical beasts in between!
July 15–19: Make ‘Em Laugh
Are you quick with a quip? Always cracking jokes? Telling stories that make people laugh? Then you might have what it takes to write comedy. During this week of side-splitting laughs, we’ll try our hands at writing different types of rib-ticklers, from knock-knock jokes to satirical news to funny fiction.
July 22–26: Robot Rampage
Travel to a world populated by robots and androids, as we imagine what scientific advances in artificial intelligence the future might bring, and what adventures—and dangers—sentient robots might hold. Along the way we’ll learn the basics of sci-fi storytelling, craft convincing robotic civilizations, and even produce short sci-fi silent films!
July 29–August 2: Spies Like Us
Do you have what it takes to be a master spy? After an intensive week of spy training by our undercover operatives, including crafting your cover legend, polishing your skills of observation, becoming a master of disguise, and learning the art of cryptography, you’ll write a debrief of your most mysterious missions—AND save Dr. Spells from the mole in our organization!
ONE camp week for ages 10–15:
August 5–9: Design Your Own Escape Room
Escape rooms are all the rage, and now you can create your own escape room game in a box, ready to be played by your friends and family! During this camp week for ages 10 and up, we’ll learn the basics of escape game design, from crafting a convincing framing story that guides your players through the challenge, to designing different types of puzzles that fit your theme and keep the story going.
REGISTRATION FEE: $20 per week
Registration requires a fee of $20 per week, which is refundable upon request subject to the terms and conditions listed below.
To register multiple children for our camp, simply fill out one order form and “purchase” as many spots as you need. Please be sure to indicate the names and ages of each child you are registering in the appropriate box, and which camp weeks each one will be attending.
REFUND POLICY:
