Are you a devoted gamer? Ever wondered how those video games are made? Learn about the basic elements of game design—Space, Components, Mechanics, Goals, and Rules—using both real-world and virtual tools. Discover why story lines, characters, and even settings are as essential to making a successful game as they are to writing a book. Craft a proposal to pitch your original idea to gaming companies. We’ll even design our own simple online games, then let others play them and tell you what they think!
Registration is free, but requires a refundable deposit of $25 via credit card, PayPal, check, or cash. The registration will not be valid until the deposit has been received by Spells Writing Lab.
