Diana Rodriguez Wallach Joins Our Advisory Board
We are so pleased to share the news that young adult novelist Diana Rodriguez Wallach has joined our Advisory Board.
In her novels, Diana writes about the lives of young people, but the story of her own life reads like a fascinating page-turner. Born during the Great Blizzard of ’78 (ask her about a lifetime of snowy birthdays), Diana’s life has been an adventure ever since: She’s traveled the world, worked many interesting jobs, and learned she’d be a novelist from a psychic.
Today, Diana is author of a critically acclaimed series of novels about Mariana Ruiz, a high-school student living in suburban Philadelphia. Amor and Summer Secrets, Amigas and School Scandals, and Adios to All The Drama follow Mariana’s life and adventures with friends and family.
Diana also presents writing workshops in schools throughout the area and is helping Spells develop programs for young adults. Before writing full time, Diana was a communications associate at the Philadelphia Education Fund. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband.

I’m so excited to be joining the Advisory Board! My thanks go out to everyone who’s making Philly Spells happen, and I look forward to working with you all.

Krista, Thank you! Stay tuned, we’ve got lots more in store.
Congratulations Diana! This looks like a win-win for both parties.
