We at Spells are digging the fact that Adam Rex, who weighs roughly 80kg and is composed primarily of carbon and water, is now a member of our Advisory Board. Adam is author and illustrator of the New York Times bestseller Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich, a collection of stories about monsters and their problems; PSSST!, a story about learning to say no when zoo animals ask too many favors; and, my personal favorite, Tree Ring Circus, about a tree, the animals who come to live in it, and the elephant who ruins everything. Dreamworks recently bought the film rights to his first novel The True Meaning of Smekday.
